Alongside a number of balance tweaks, today's update adds Artemis - Goddess of the Hunt and personal Hades fave. Really, though, it's today's free update that contains most of the goodies. Blood effects can be accessed in their own settings menu, where you can fiddle about with precisely how much gore you want in your game. It's a fairly light DLC pack - but then, at £2.49 on the Epic Games Store, the price isn't too much to ask for an extra bit of sauce on top of your tactical maelstroms. The subtly-named Blood & Glory DLC for Creative Assembly's Ancient Greek murderfest arrived today, bathing Troy in a flood of blood, gore and grizzly details.

Once installed, these effects can be activated and adjusted through the graphics menu, where you can increase or decrease the level of gore to suit your taste.

This pack introduces several gory and mature-rated effects to the campaign and battle map, allowing players to experience the Trojan War in all its blood-soaked glory.
